About

I am a forty-something year old who has gone down the rabbit hole of hormonal imbalance, perimenopause, anxiety and panic. Β It is a path that I would not have chosen and I think in my next life, I would like to come back as a sexy man. Β I’m not sure being a woman is the best choice. Β Even a squirrel may be better than being a potentially perimenopausal woman. Β I invite you to join me on my journey; Β on my struggle to regain my sanity, my self confidence and to live each day to its fullest; Β with or without a raging hormonal imbalance.

  1. I feel you on the perimenopausal journey. I refer to perimenopause as my personal hell. It’s actually such a huge factor in my existence that I’m writing an article about it. I have found, however, that taking evening primrose oil helps. Evening primrose oil, at least for me, doesn’t stop the anxiety, depression, out-of-control periods, night sweats, or any of the other symptoms, but it does take the edge off. That small thing has made a huge difference for me.

  2. Geez, I hear ya! I had a hysterectomy when I was 41 and things have been great. But suddenly at 64.5 I find I’m suffering from the same issues. Can’t quite figure that one out! Thanks so much for the follow. I look forward to getting to know you.

  3. Being a man, I am unable to relate – but having a mom and a sister and knowing what they have gone through, I can only try to understand and be compassionate. Thank you for following my blog, I hope your day is a happy one! πŸ™‚

  6. Thank you for following my blog and it was great to find someone else who is also passionate about personal values, character and trying to overcome life’s challenges. Many of the bloggers I hook up with are very llike-minded, particular in the 1000 Voices for Compassion Group http://www.1000voicesspeak.org/ Our January topic was about forgiveness and I’ve read all the posts and felt like I’d feasted on superfoods for the soul. Highly highly recommend it xx Rowena

      1. I haven’t officially launched my blog yet as I am trying to add some content so that there are more than just crickets chirping.

My plan is to have as many guest writers and contributors who wish to submit their work to share with our family of coaches, consultants, and mentors.

We serve the field of personal development with a purpose to help people transform their lives so I welcome anyone who believes their content may help others in some way.

I have found that to be true with several of your posts. You select which ones you would like me to share and I will make that happen for you.

I will create a link inside your post back to your blog / profile so as to direct more people your way! Hope that helps!

  8. Hello my dear! Un grand merci/ a huge thank you for liking my blog post about coping strategies! When you write about mental health, it’s just the sort of encouragement you need to know that likeminded humans have found your info and find it useful. I read your most recent post ‘Just Breathe II’ and as a yoga teacher myself, I’ve got to agree with your angel of an instructor–there is IMMENSE POWER in the breath. I’ve actually got a post about that as well. πŸ™‚
Wishing you peace and patience with self. Keep writing about your opinions and experiences, they’re valuable!
